DISCOVER BIRMINGHAM



Birmingham est une des plus grandes villes d’Angleterre et se situe à environ 2h40 de Londres ce qui fait d’elle un endroit parfait pour un day trip depuis la capitale. J’ai décidé d’y aller parce que ma mère y a vécu il y a quelques années et j’avais envie de découvrir un peu plus de la ville et des endroits qu’elle fréquentait.

La ville se visite aisément en une journée étant donné qu’elle est assez industrielle et si vous avez la chance d’y aller pendant la période du marché de Noël, celui-ci est typiquement allemand car parrainé avec la ville de Francfort en Allemagne.

Les principales choses à voir dans la ville sont : le quartier juif, le marché de Noël, le Bullring area (un grand centre commerciale et des boutiques très sympa en plein cœur du centre-ville), Broad Street, Victoria Square (avec un énorme musée qui surplombe la place), Tolken Trail (pour les fans du seigneur des anneaux), Perrots Tower et la bibliothèque de Birmingham.

  4. Despite having been born in the UK I have never been to Birmingham! It looks like I should plan a visit - the architecture looks really nice (and the food looks delicious!)
